Currently Ed has been called to the jungles of Burma. As the Burmese people are still being oppressed and bombed daily, he is participating in efforts to build bomb shelters for the people that are left. The people who have lost family members and their homes have escaped to the jungle and are attempting to rebuild their own village there. Currently, they are not trusting, as they have been put in danger numerous times by other people trying to help and offer their assistance. The more widely affiliated the groups are, the more danger they are in, so they are finding safety in Ed's individualism and his ability to help them without drawing attention to them. They are currently in dire need of Jesus. They are worshipping gods that are extremely fear-based and dark. Those that are Christians, are extremely persecuted and often get exiled by their families or even fear for their lives. The need is great and Ed is up to the task. God has been preparing him for months. After having many issues with his passport and VISA, God directed him to a place that requires neither.
