Begins directly following worship
Parents with young children are welcome to utilize our quiet area in the back of the church at any point during our service. We also have a separate room upstairs (not staffed) for moms and their littles.
Our nursery is staffed beginning after morning worship through the end of the service. We ask that parents be the ones to drop off and promptly pick up your child.
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a short age appropriate lesson each week, along with a safe space for them to play and interact with each other and our volunteers.
Kid's Church begins directly following Morning Worship. All children PreK4 through 6th Grade are welcome to join us upstairs at this time. Our classes are divided up into two ages groups; PreK4 - 3rd Grade and 4th - 6th Grade. Classrooms are marked accordingly.
For the month of December we will be focusing on Jesus being the "Light of the World".
Lights at Christmastime are a pretty big deal. We put lights inside our house and on the outside, on trees and bushes - we see them everywhere. Lights at Christmas are more that just decoration though. Lights remind us of the light that Jesus gives. Many, many years ago a brilliant star proclaimed Christ's birth. It was a great light that shown brightly telling the world that Jesus had come to give hope and life to all. Jesus brought the light and love of God to this earth for everyone.
Through our Christmas series we will learn that the light of Jesus lives in us, makes fear and darkness run, keeps giving life, and brings comfort and warmth to all.
Memory Verse:
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Not do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
